Vice-President of Research and Development and Project Leader for the Dynamic Vision project  for Adventus, Dr Erickson received his BA in Mathematics and Chemistry from Bethel University, Minnesota, USA, completed MSc (physiological optics) and Doctor of Optometry degrees at Pacific University, Oregon, USA, an MSc degree (biometry and health information systems) at the University of Minnesota, USA and a PhD in Vision Science at the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Yvette Waddell

Ms Waddell is Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary for Adventus. She is also the Chief Operating Officer of the Brien Holden Vision Institute since 2004. Ms Waddell has been involved with optometric research and education since 2000, previously as Business Development Manager for the One Vision group and Director of Administration for the International Association of Contact Lens Educators from 1993 to 2000. Ms Waddell has a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

Richard P Franz

Vice President of Corporate Development for Adventus, Dr Franz has more than 30 years experience in the optometric and ophthalmic industries. From 1981 to 1987 Dr Franz was a Director at Bausch & Lomb Inc in Professional Services, Clinical and Ocular Research, and ultimately Director of Marketing, International Division. From 1987 to 1990 he was Director of Marketing for Contact Lenses at Allergan Inc.. 

Daniel Holden    
General Manager – Adventus Technology Australia

Mr Holden is General Manager for Adventus Technology Australia. In 2003, he joined the Brien Holden Vision Institute as Commercialization Manager, establishing the Institute’s Commercialization Committee, and between 2005 and 2007 managed the Institute’s intellectual property portfolio.
