Vice President of Clinical Affairs, Ms Franz has over 20 years of clinical research and ophthalmic experience; providing senior technical and professional support in clinical research, product development and regulatory affairs. From 1988 to 1990 Ms Franz was a Research Optometrist at the Cornea and Contact Lens Research Unit (CCLRU). From 1990 to1992 Ms Franz was Manager of the Research Clinic and Manager of Clinical Studies at CCLRU, with responsibility for all aspects of operating and organizing the contact lens clinic, and responsibility for lens-related research and the clinical evaluation of all contact lens products.

Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary. She also has been the Chief Operating Officer of the Institute for Eye Research since May 2004. Ms. Waddell has been involved with optometric research and education since 2000, previously as Business Development Manager for the One Vision group and Director of Administration for the International Association of Contact Lens Educators from 1993 to 2000. Ms Waddell has a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales.

He has extensive marketing and technical experience in fast growth, global organisations and has extensive entrepreneurial and business development experience with start up businesses. Dr Franz has more than 30 years experience in the optometry and ophthalmic industries, beginning as an Optometrist/Owner specializing in contact lenses.
