THE ADVENTUS TECHNOLOGY MISSION The Adventus’ mission is to bring unique products to the vision correction (refractive eye care) market. The Company plans to develop and bring to market well designed, efficacious, best quality evolutionary and revolutionary products with very broad application and appeal.

Adventus Technology Inc was created to complete the development, obtain regulatory approval and market two unique proprietary products developed and patented by Vision CRC/Cooperative Research Centre for Eye Research and Technology (CRCERT) and commercialised through Vision CRC’s commercialisation vehicle, Viscorp, our principal stockholder. These products are revolutionary in their design and application within the ophthalmic refractive industry.

Vision CRC/CRCERT patented and licensed, for commercial distribution, a silicone hydrogel soft contact lens to Ciba Vision Corporation, which was subsequently sublicensed to Bausch & Lomb and Cooper Vision. Silicone hydrogel lenses currently represent approximately 40% of the worldwide market for extended wear soft contact lenses.

Vision CRC and CRCERT have had extensive professional and academic educational programs including the training of Masters and PhD degree students, graduating over 80 PhDs through its partnering institutions.

Over 200 internationally known scientists, ophthalmic research professionals and educators and 30 world-leading institutions are directly involved in Vision CRC.

The Institute for Eye Research, with its major partner, Vision CRC, has created four successful non-profit corporations. Vision CRC with its collaborators organises and conducts major research, education and public health programs in the
areas of myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia, eye health and vision
care delivery.
