Adventus Technology (Australia) Pty Ltd (“ATA”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Brien Holden Vision Institute. ATA was originally established to support Adventus Technology Inc., which is licensed to develop and commercialise ophthalmic products that originate in Vision CRC. Its headquarter is located at Australian Technology Park in Sydney, Australia on the premises of ATP Innovations Pty Ltd (ATPi). It has established a Technology Hub for prototype manufacture, which includes laboratories, office space and appropriate personnel.
The Technology Hub has the capability to distribute, implement, produce and scale-up pilot manufacturing for lenses, materials and lens care system and to support the development and manufacture of future Australian ophthalmic products.
All activities in this facility are conducted under ISO 13485 Quality System Certification to design, manufacture and distribute ophthalmic medical devices.
